MP TO BACK BARNES VISION AT CRUCIAL COUNCIL MEETING

Susan Kramer, MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston is to speak in support of community campaigners Barnes Vision at a crunch council meeting tonight.

The local MP will throw her support behind the group's campaign to refurbish Barn Elms playing fields without the need for land to be sold off to developers.

Susan Kramer MP commented:

"Barnes Vision is an excellent example of the community pulling together to come up with a way to improve community facilities while preserving our green space."

"Barnes Vision has worked tirelessly to secure grants and funding to improve the facilities at Barn Elms without the need to sell off any of the site, and have certainly shown the capability and expertise to see this project through."

"They have won the support of the local community, the users of Barn Elms and deserve the support of the council."

"I really believe that Barnes Vision's plan for Barn Elms is a win for everybody."
