MPs Christmas Card Contest Winners

Ten local primary schools entered this year's competition to design a Christmas card for MP Vincent Cable.

The winner, Jemima Witts of Collis School, was one of hundreds of entries and there were four runners up: Jennifer De Rose, Buckingham Primary; Ruby Anne Langton-Higgins, St James Primary; Anya Palamartschuk, St John The Baptist Junior; and Ben Long Hampton Junior .

Vincent Cable said: "this year there was a record number of entries, some of exceptional quality. Some were religious; others not, and I tried to choose winners on artistic grounds. This year the card will be distributed more widely in the constituency - and just to reassure anyone with a sceptical mind - at my expense, not the taxpayer!"
