Paul Burstow, MP for Sutton and Cheam, has spoken of his ongoing commitment to serving the residents of Belmont, Cheam, Stoneleigh, Sutton and Worcester Park after being unanimously re-selected as the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for the constituency. Mr Burstow was reselected at a meeting of Sutton Liberal Democrats, held at Granfers Hall on 15th February.

Speaking after the meeting, Mr Burstow said:

"I am delighted to have been chosen by my fellow Liberal Democrats to be their representative at the next General Election."

"It has been a great honour to represent the area where I grew up for the last 10 years."

"I look forward to the challenges and rewards of continuing to represent the needs of people here - by fighting for the future of our health service, our schools and our policing - for many years to come."
