Tom Brake MP and Paul Burstow MP were unanimously re-selected as the Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidates for the Carshalton and Wallington and Sutton and Cheam constituencies at a Liberal Democrat Members Meeting last night at Gransfers Hall in Sutton.

Speaking after the re-selection meeting, Tom Brake said, "It has been a great privilege and honour to serve the residents of Carshalton and Wallington. I am proud that the local Liberal Democrats have put their trust in me once again. This will allow me to continue fighting for the things that matter locally; saving St Helier hospital, tackling anti-social behaviour and improving our local schools.
