MP Bowled Over by Beano's

MP for Carshalton and Wallington, Tom Brake, met with youngsters and staff at Beano's After School Club on 2nd August. He was delighted to take up the invite and Tom was able to speak at length with managers, learn about the clubs and join in with the children's cricket match.

Tom was also keen to hear about the group's upcoming fund raising event in support of leukaemia research. The event will take place on the 12th August with all support very welcome.

Commenting Mr Brake said: "It was a thoroughly enjoyable day. The after school club provides much needed support to working families."

"It is clear that clubs like Beano's make an excellent contribution to the community. I sincerely hope fundraising event is a huge success."
