Teather urges Iraqis in London to have their say

Liberal Democrat spokesperson for London, Sarah Teather MP has today urged Iraqis in London to have their say by registering their vote in the forthcoming elections in Iraq. Wembley Conference Centre is one of only three places in the UK where Iraqis are entitled to register their vote in the elections.

Brent East MP and Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for London, Sarah Teather said:

"I would encourage all Iraqis to register their vote in these elections. It is vital that they have their say in the reconstruction of their country.

"I was against the war but I believe that these elections are vital in rebuilding a country that has been torn apart by violence."
