London's raw sewage deal - sign Sarah Ludford MEP's petition to the European Parliament!

With 240 million cubic metres of raw sewage dumped into London's river in the last four years (see Mike Tuffrey's press release), I invite members to sign a petition I am taking to the European parliament. EU water quality directives are being breached. The primary responsibility for ensuring British compliance with EU law - through its regulation of Thames Water - lies with the UK government. Enforcement is up to the European Commission.
