'WHILE MINISTERS DITHER, CROSSRAIL GETS DELAYED'

Commenting on the decision to delay the publication of the Montague Report on Crossrail and postpone the decision on building the project, Liberal Democrat London Mayoral candidate Simon Hughes said:

"While Ministers dither, Crossrail gets delayed. The Montague Report should not be held back while the Government adds gloss and spin to the independent findings. Instead, it should be published immediately to allow the public to see the merits of the case to build the project."
