Commenting in support of the London 2012 Olympic bid launch, Simon Hughes said: "The 2012 Olympic bid is a fantastic opportunity to showcase what is truly great about Great Britain. It gives the chance for Londoners to be proud of their city and an opportunity for the whole of the UK to get behind the Olympic bid and bring the games to our shores."
